Welcome to Clapham Pet Sitting. As well as covering the Clapham area, all services can also be retained for residents in the nearby areas of Battersea, Brixton, Camberwell, Oval and as far north as Pimlico. Travelling is no problem! Just contact your local Clapham pet sitter, Barbara, at: Clapham@london-pet-sitting.com
Barbara is very experienced with pets having worked as a vet in Italy. However, the qualifications are not recognised in the UK so she has been helping out at Battersea Dogs Home over the last five years. Barbara is also the referring vet for the Italian Consultate in London. So why not contact Barbara to look after your cat, dog or other pet, however exotic?
All the areas covered have lovely open parks perfect for your pet, however energetic they may be.
In Clapham, the huge common lies in the centre of this vibrant, trendy and bustling neighbourhood. Surrounded by beautiful 18th and 19th century mansions and used for concerts and festivals in the summertime, and by residents all year round, the common is the ideal space for any dog (or human!) to get their exercise.
Always a vibrant area, having been a home at various times to both the famous diarist Samuel Pepys and William Wilberforce, Clapham still maintains its place as one of the most cosmopolitan areas in the capital. Home to professionals from all walks of life, artists to bankers, and people from all over the world, it also boasts a night life to challenge many city centres,

Down the road on the banks of the Thames is Battersea. Famous for its iconic power station, built by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott at the start of the 20th century, it was immortalised in popular culture on the front of Pink Floyd's album 'Animals'. It is also home to Battersea Park, which sits directly on the river. With its Peace Pagoda, zoo and festival gardens it is possibly one of the best kept and interesting parks in London. Year round it accommodates events varying from the Affordable Art Fair to Thai cultural festivals. It is a space with something for everyone to enjoy. Couple this with the Thames path running all along the bank of the river and there are enough options for any temperament of animal.
Brixton, Camberwell and Oval are situated within ten minutes of each other and all possess their own green spaces and their own 'up and coming' personalities. Brixton, with the world famous Brixton Academy, the independent Ritzy Cinema and a host of other venues, has the beautiful Brockwell Park off Effra Road. Camberwell, home to one of the finest art schools in the world, has both Ruskin Park, once the private gardens of stately homes, and the smaller Camberwell Green. And finally Oval, home to Lords and the epicentre of English cricket, has Kennington Park at its feet.
In short, each of these areas has all that is necessary for the safe exercising of your favourite pet, with more than enough space to ensure they keep happy and healthy. I look forward to hearing from you.
