Wimbledon Village Dog Show 2010

The wonderful show started with the "Best Looking Dog" competition and was full, with dogs on all sides of the show arena. The winners of each competition went through to the final - the "Best Dog in Show". This was followed by the "Look-Alike" competition, with some great competitors. It was very much a Wimbledon family day out with dogs, with competitors of all ages taking part. Wimbledon certainly has talent and the photos do not do justice to the talented dogs and owners.

Next was the Egg and Spoon Race - with a difference. We were all in awe of the three wonderful dogs from the Metropolitan Dog Unit. The fancy dress competition had dogs and their owners suitably attired.

The Olympics in the relay competition was so popular that there was the fun of the qualification stages.

At the end of the day, there was the difficult choice of Best in Show which was voted for by the public.

So a wonderfully organised and fun dog show competition by the Goddard Veterinary Group, sponsored by the "London Swimming Pool Company" and the "Holden Harper" Group of Architects
